69. Behind the Scenes of the Enneagram MBA Makeover: Using Your Enneagram Type to Align Your Business or Career
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Have you been thinking about a change in your career? Or a pull in a new direction with your business?
Inside this unofficial Season 2 finale...
For the curious, you'll hear about some of the reasoning behind the recent changes to the Enneagram MBA brand - from the colors, to new offers, from a new website, to the social media strategy.
And for anyone looking to make changes in their own career, business, or life in general, tune in to hear about the specific pieces of my type (7) and subtype (Social or Navigating) I used to let go of some old ways and more confidently embrace and move forward in a more aligned direction.
I hesitate to say "new" or "pivot" because these changes feel more like a natural evolution, but the insight I took into consideration with the Enneagram helping me hold up a mirror, made me more confident about the changes and the timing.
Even if we have different Enneagram types and subtypes, the intention for this episode is
A) give you insight into the brand and what to expect so you can decide to stick around or not (of course I hope you do!) and
B) to further study your own dominant type and subtype to see what clarity and direction they might offer in your own upcoming changes.

Well, we have made it to the unofficial ending of season two. And I say unofficial because there are a couple more this or that mini episodes coming out for the Tuesday slot. But as far as the regularly scheduled Thursday interview or Enneagram teaching topic, that will be on hold for the month of I was gonna say September, for the month of July, taking a break for the summer, just kind of regrouping, getting ready and excited for season three coming up. I've been talking to some of those guests, planning, having some ideas back and forth, looking to continue bringing insights and deeper understanding about human behavior, understanding other people, understanding ourselves, and doing that through the lens of the Enneagram, and also bringing in some different experts who may have a different approach or expertise on another assessment or tool or some additional brain science or whatever it might be, some unique angle. So looking forward to bringing that experience and expertise from others to the show for season three. And then also, I will tell you my intention, I'll report back on how this goes for this time off, too, is to kind of bring back to life all of this content that I've had on the podcast in two seasons. We're at, I think this is episode 69. And I don't do a great job of repurposing that really came to light when I, well, it probably came to light. It was just a really a good look in the mirror when I had Press Rogers on, who was our Pinterest expert, type three, and just talking about how um kind of a lot of podcast hosts are guilty of promoting the episode just on the day that it comes out, maybe the week of a few times, but then that's kind of it. That is totally me. So I don't know exactly how I'm gonna be doing that, but I have some ideas and just turning some things into blogs and pulling out some nuggets and video clips and that type of thing. So just kind of playing around, experimenting with some things, but definitely want to dig into the archive and bring some of those really great interviews and topics back to the forefront to reuse in the future. So that is something else that will be happening behind the scenes. And then speaking of behind the scenes, this episode is about the behind the scenes of some of the changes you may or may not have noticed with any gram NBA from the colors to the offers to the new website to a new social media strategy, just kind of thinking how I share content. And it's not to talk about me. Um, that's not the intention. It's just to share that process in case anything that I thought about or did or considered is helpful in your own decision-making process with any changes you plan on making with your career, any type of business changes you were thinking about making, starting, stopping, changing, whatever that might be. So the hope, the intention is for it to bring just sometimes it's helpful just to know like what somebody else is doing. Also, sometimes, so you know, okay, definitely don't want to do that. Um, contrast can also bring clarity. So that might be uh what you take away from this episode as well. Also, I will tell you, I'm really excited because I actually I actually had to record the intro to this. Um, I think this is my third time because I keep hitting things. Like I don't, I I hear it when I listen back on the episodes. Like I hear I hit my laptop, I hit my desk, and then historically I've had my mic on a little tripod on my desk and I like knock it around. And I don't know if you've noticed or not, I I it bothers me. And so I got a podcast arm and I'm using the arm and I haven't hit the mic yet. So fingers crossed, this works. Um, because I do I talk with my hands, even though it's just you know, technically me and the mic right here. I get I get my my arms are flailing and I hit the mic and it it just goes flying. I knock it over, I just bump it. So I'm hoping if it's this arm kind of coming from above, I I don't do that as much. So you have to let me know if you if you notice a change there. But anyway, without further ado, here is this episode on the behind the scenes of the Enneagram NBA changes using both your dominant Enneagram type and your subtype to create an aligned career and ultimately life. And uh yeah, enjoy this unofficial ending to season two. Welcome to the Enneagram MBA Podcast, a show for aspiring and growing entrepreneurs and unfulfilled employees who know they are capable of playing bigger. If you are wanting to identify your gifts, find your purpose, do work that matters, and create a ripple effect that goes beyond yourself, you're in the right place. Each week you'll get resources, strategies, and support to help you get to know yourself, to get to know and understand others, like your future clients, and help you get known so that you can reach more people with your gifts and purpose. So grab your notebook or open up your notes app, and I will see you in class. Hi there. This is a bonus episode here on the Enneagram MBA podcast. I am your host, Sarah Wallace, certified Enneagram coach, workshop facilitator, and speaker. And this episode is meant to, well, two things really. One, to give you an update. There have been some visual changes, some changes to the podcast cover, to my website. You may or may not have seen those, some messaging. And so I'm just going to share some of the thought process behind those, not because I think you necessarily care that much, but um just so that you kind of know what's going on and not like, wait, what is going on? And then also to share some lessons learned or just some of my thought process behind this, that the parts that I think might be helpful for you, either questions to ask yourself or things to reflect on that might give you the completely opposite answer, but at least give you some additional ideas for things to consider. And then the other intention, because this is the Enneagram of Baby Podcast, um, is to share with you a little bit about some things that I reflected on with my specific Enneagram type and subtype that um provided some really helpful validation and questions as I knew that I wanted to make some changes, but maybe just wasn't confident in them or wasn't sure what I really wanted to do and how I use my Enneagram type, um, and specifically the things that resonated with me about my Enneagram type to provide some clarity on those next moves. So even if we aren't both type sevens, um, the intention is just to give some examples about how I use knowing my Enneagram type, and it can be any Enneagram type to help me make some really aligned, competent decisions in whatever you're doing, whether it's a career change, starting a business, closing a business, pivoting a business, um quitting a job, starting a new job, whatever it might be, how you can use that Enneagram type to help you maybe make some of those decisions easier and with more clarity. So here we go. The first thing that I have on my list is this idea of pivoting or maybe evolving is a better word for me personally from a personal brand to a company. Now, I'm not recommending this specific strategy because I know other individuals who are moving away from a company into a personal brand. And so there's not one right way, and there's not even one right way for type seven specifically, right? But I'm going to share with you the things that made me feel really confident and brought some clarity into what my vision for what I wanted to do with my business was. And yes, as a type seven, I do very much value freedom and choices and variety and experiences and getting excited and enthused about ideas and possibilities. And that is going to come into play in just a second when we talk more in part two and point two here that I have on my list about my changing up of my offers. But I also share that with you because at the top of that list was freedom and flexibility and just kind of like lightheartedness. And the thing for me that was a contributing factor into wanting to position myself as more of a company. And you'll see that from my podcast cover no longer has my photo on it. My website, my my photo is not at the top anymore. And really, my vision for this business is really to be more of a team, to be more of a company serving clients, kind of rolling out the red carpet, giving them these red carpet experiences, having a team where other people's strengths and gifts will help help me kind of focus on my strengths and gifts and kind of pick up the slack where I know very much is happening right now. And just to be able to be part of a group, to be part of a team, that is for me right now in this moment, where I want this direction for Enneagram MBA to go. Less about Sarah Lynn, um, and really more about Enneagram MBA and even more than just the Enneagram, is really this whole idea of understanding people better. Understanding people at work has kind of become my new tagline. And um, I created a new cheat sheet, just kind of subtle, uh subtle promotion there called uh the Understanding People cheat sheet. It's an outline of all the Enneagram types, online types, with just a quick little blurb about each of them that you can keep on your desk about how to lead them, what they need, what they motive, what motivates them, what they're gonna find frustrating, um, not just for yourself, but for your others' awareness is really why that cheat sheet was designed. So there you go, there's that. But it is really more about this idea of how can we understand people better? And I think that for me, and I'm still working a lot of this out, this being one of those things, but I kind of feel like if we can understand ourselves better, then we can understand others better. And when we can understand others, not agree with them, not necessarily even like them, but when we we can at least understand where someone else is coming from, we can have you know more critical thinking, we can have more inclusiveness, we can have more um maybe even peace. I'm not saying that any of the grams gonna bring world peace by any means, but maybe peace in your own world, your community, your team, wherever it is, your your relationship with your significant other. And so I also still very much have um, I don't know, is it a drive? Is it um I I see the importance of having more women, people of color, people with disabilities, people who are who are different than than me, than um the you know, the stereotypical person maybe in corporate America. Um having different perspectives at the table is just going to make that team better, that organization better, that company better. And I think the Enneagram provides and puts some language as to what exactly those differences are, and putting language into oh my gosh, here's where we're at right now, here's what we're missing, and here's specifically the type of energy, the type of people that we need to be bringing in. Um, yes, women, people of color, people with with um disabilities, and also um be happier, healthier places to work. And then being around, you know, happier, healthier people makes happier, healthier individuals that will ideally spill over into your friendships, into your relationships, into your families. So um, you know, I'm still kind of working out the the the big why, but that is kind of where I'm at right now and how I want to really position Enneagram MBA as a company that helps people understand other people at work, but that also includes understanding people, includes yourself. So there's that. Um the colors changed. I love a good hot pink, but I just felt for kind of that that company position that I wanted to take, the idea of growing with the team, of connecting with other companies that I didn't want to necessarily tone myself down, but maybe tone the pink down. And so um I came up with something that was still, I think, very feminine. It kind of feels like a dream cycle with the orange and different shades of pink, but maybe not so in your face pink. I personally still love a good pink, love a good bright pink lipstick, a good bright pink um shirt nail polish, but I'm just not going to necessarily have that my, you know, my my representation of the brand anymore. And I love, I love the colors. I still feel I still think it's very feminine and will, you know, maybe put off the people who it it's maybe intended to put off, but also still be attractive and stand out. So that's that the color change falls into kind of that that shift into a company. I mentioned the podcast cover, the website no longer has my face at the top and just kind of my my vision for the future. Um, and I will say here too, that I one of the other reasons behind the the company versus the um personal brand had a lot to do too with how I want to show up on social media and how I want to show up online and what I want to share. And I'm all about a good story. And I do very much still believe in making yourself relatable and approachable. And you know, that I do think, you know, in a lot of situations, that is kind of how you will stand out is the personality of your company, which as a person who doesn't have a hundred person company, that that really is very much me. That might very much be you at this moment. Um, I don't necessarily, though, want to share my whole life. I don't, I, I, I, I've it, it has kind of become performative. It could very much become performative if I continued on doing what I was doing. And this is something I have been feeling and and reflecting on for quite a while now, about at least the last year and a half, of how much of behind the scenes do I really want to share about my family, about my relationship, about my vacation, about just my day to day. Like I don't know that I necessarily want to document every hike that I take my dog on as content for my business. I maybe I and I don't want to say maybe, I'm at a place now where I'm like, I just want to enjoy these moments. I just want to enjoy my life without feeling like I have to document it. So the content and and and I've also been inspired by other women, other business owners who are doing their business kind of this way. There is a lot of influencer content. There's a ton of behind the scenes where you do have these businesses, these individuals sharing very much their thoughts and opinions, their day-to-day life. I don't think that that's wrong. I'm just saying, for me, based on this idea of wanting to have freedom, um, not to have to document everything that I do, it started to feel really heavy. It started to feel confining and being able to say, you know, I really value the flexibility, I value freedom, this kind of this openness, just kind of like agility. I don't have that when I'm trying to think of what do I want to post? How do I want to make a post? How do I want to create content out of this kind of personal moment, this personal situation? And so a lot of my content will really be focused on the Enneagram, the business content, not necessarily me. And also as I continue to grow, again, going back to having freedom and flexibility, um, I, you know, I may bring other people in to create that content, to do a podcast episode, to do podcast interviews, to write content. And I don't want to necessarily be tied to me having to like get them content of my quote unquote behind the scenes life. Um, and again, people do that option too, not saying that anything's wrong with that. That's just where I'm at with that. So I don't know that I necessarily meant to spend as much time on point one as I did, but I think all of that it are questions that I know I'm having with my friends who have their own businesses, with other peers, with clients, and just things, questions, reflections that I'm hearing in another podcast, reading in different articles. So I know very much that is something that people are thinking about. And I'm not to say that my way is right and my way may not be right for me for the rest of my life. Like it might be next year, and I'm thinking, you know, I really want to start stepping up as this personal brand again and really getting my face and my story and my behind the scenes visible again. I may change my mind, but for right now, that's where I'm at, and that's why. And that's kind of how my values based on my Enneagram type. And it doesn't mean that because I'm a seven, it's just these are the things about the seven that I really appreciate and really resonate and I see that are influencing this decision. So there's that. Um, the second point has to do with my offerings, and really my ideal client has shifted quite a bit because I have gotten to do, I love, I have a handful of one-on-one clients right now. I love them. I would be honored and excited to continue working with them and for however long that they'll have me and and need that level of support. That's also not going to be my focus anymore. I'm really focused on team trainings, workshops, event speak, speaking at events, trainings. And so with that, I have completely overhauled um my offerings and really have pivoted to, I don't, I've just evolved, right? The more that you work with different types of people, and that's what I've been doing, right? I've I've had one-on-one clients, I've had workshop clients, I've had, I've gotten to speak at different places, I've had groups, I've had memberships, I've had a playing around with a product idea. So I've tried and experimented with all these things. And where I'm at right now, this workshop idea feels really exciting. It's something that has been vetted. It's not just an idea I think would be fun. I've gotten to do several of them while I'm also experimenting with all these other things. And I'm as I'm going through this move from personal brands to kind of company and who I want to work with, what I want my life to look like, um, I I'm I want to focus on the the workshop branch, kind of going all in, not even all in, just really putting a lot of focus, still doing other things, still doing using the Enneagram for career coaching, um, for business coaching, helping you come up with different off uh offers, understanding your strengths, that type of thing. We absolutely will I will be doing that. Um, and also that won't necessarily be what I'm focused on or what I'm talking a lot about. The content, because of the offer change, the content will change as well. And I'll get to that in point three here in just a second. But again, because we're talking about the Enneagram, this is the Enneagram show. I want to share a little bit about some of the validation that I was able to bring into this decision because of the insight, the language that the Enneagram gave me. So, yes, my type specific, the things that resonate with me most about that seven energy are the is the variety, is having experiences, is getting to be excited and enthusiastic. With and around other people. So there's that. And then a lot of you have at least, I know, heard of the subtypes, the those natural instincts, the preserving, self-preservation, the social or the navigating energy, and then the sexual or one-to-one sometimes, or also called the transmitting energy. And for me, this, I and I actually did a podcast episode on how to use this energy to help you create an aligned offer. And I will include that in the show notes. I don't, I didn't realize I was going to bring it up, but that has been a popular um post over on Instagram as well as an episode on here on the podcast. So I'll link to that in case it provides you some additional clarity and insight about your aligned offers, creating your aligned offers based on what energy you resonate with. But there's three for each type, there's three flavors of that type based on which three of these buckets most you most resonate with. We tend to have a dominant, a supporting, and then sometimes a neglected um subtype energy. And really the idea is to bring all three and to have all three in play. But there's going to be one that tends to kind of be our go-to default, where we just naturally thrive in, get excited about, focus on. And for me, I very much identify with that social subtype energy. Um, this is where you kind of have this um natural energy to be a part and and even lead in a group setting. You have this ability to read a room and making sure that everyone is having a great experience. You're reading body language and facial expressions, and you'll know what to do if something's off balance. And then part of your superpower also in this subtype includes helping others find and use their own superpower. And there's three pieces that make up this social energy, this navigating energy. It's one reading and interpreting kind of the ability to read a room, read someone's body language, facial expressions, um, and able to interpret what those body languages, what they mean, what's their intentions going to be, and then kind of care for the network of those relationships. The second one is bonding, where you're able to co-create with others and make others feel like partners, establish mutual support, creating win-win solutions for everyone, everyone with an us mentality. And then you just kind of have this natural curiosity for meeting new people. And then third, the third component of this is your contribution to others. You get a lot of value personally, professionally from contributing to a group or a community. You tend to lean towards serving others for the greater good with a mission to help others find and use their gifts. And so that social energy paired with that seven energy just really is just been so um, it's just so validating, so refreshing, so freeing to realize, oh my gosh, this is why I keep going back to these things and maybe why some of these other things aren't working so well or don't feel as exciting. And so for me, the workshop, being around other people, getting to connect with them virtually or ideally, more and more and more in person, feels so exciting. It feels so recharging. And also the part of me that, you know, gets to experience new places, gets to do some traveling, gets to meet some new people. I just feel like for me right now, this is in total alignment with those two aspects of what I most resonate on the with the with on the Enneagram. Now, for you, you might be thinking, that sounds awful. It sounds terrifying, it sounds draining, it sounds boring, you know, whatever. And I'm not saying you need to be doing workshops, but understanding those subtypes has really been helpful for me. And so I'm going to recommend you, yes, really get clear on what is resonating most with you about your Enneagram type, and then also use those subtypes to better understand, to get some additional dimension and clarity about yourself and what is going to bring you energy, where your values are really aligned with the types of services, offers, the types of roles, the types of jobs, the careers that you are currently in, and maybe looking at what potentially could be a better fit based on that information if it's not feeling aligned right now. So um that was the intention of telling you that. And for me, you know, I feel like there's a lot of boxes that get checked with this idea of doing team workshops, corporate workshops, organizations, um, different organization workshops. And so I have created my website, my brand, my content with that now very much in mind and at front and center. Whereas before it was very much on the back burner, somebody asked about it, if you know it happened, it happened, not really being focused on packages, making it easy, creating a red carpet experience. And now that's all that I'm thinking about. And I'm really excited about it. And I'll say for me too, as somebody who does get excited and loves to be around people, this option also allows me to have downtime and quiet time and alone time and piddle time where I'm behind the scenes a lot of the times too, making the slides, researching, finding new examples, coming up with fun analogies, getting to be creative in Canva as I develop the slides for different types of workshops and presentations, and getting to be creative with the experience that I bring to others. And I'm really looking forward to bringing new people onto the team as this grows to help me deliver that experience and not just a two-hour, a four-hour, you know, a full-day workshop, but really a full experience. So I'm excited. And, you know, hopefully something in there was helpful about, you know, how to use your type and that subtype energy to understand what's going to really excite you and feel aligned. Um, the last thing that I'll mentioned because we are here on the podcast is some of the content will be changing a little bit from focused on entrepreneur, entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, really starting a business and kind of zooming out into just really understanding people in general, but in a work context. So, yes, we'll still be hearing from entrepreneurs and hearing about those kinds of topics and content and how any of your gram type can play into those, but also talking about leadership styles, interviewing different leaders, um, talking about conflict resolution, interviewing, you know, different people have had to deal with that and interviewing other personality assessment experts. Colby, I just had a great conversation with a woman on um LinkedIn. I'm excited to bring that in into the next season. Um, maybe we'll bring in, you know, Myers Briggs, Clifton Strengths Finder. Who knows? Um, but now the focus is, yes, still very much on the Enneagram, but understanding people using the Enneagram, and then occasionally getting to bring in some different tools, some different um experts and different angles for how to help us understand ourselves and other people at work and eventually spilling over into our whole lives. So that is some, those are some changes that you can expect, as well as we have really focused on women's voices, women's experiences. And that is still very important because I think that we're, you know, underrepresented in a lot of the decision-making roles. And so the more that we can learn from others who who are in those rooms, what they did, what advice that they would share, um, I think that that is absolutely, I don't think I know that's something I still want to do. And also I'm curious at understanding all people. And um, so we'll be hearing from some men um in season three on the podcast, talking about their experience, learning about themselves, learning about their teams, how they use the Enneagram, maybe how they use some different personality assessments. So that'll be really interesting too, all with the intention of how can we better understand ourselves and how can we understand other people. And then the last thing that I'll say as I start to wrap this up is that I started my business um almost three years ago now. And it was with this intention of, um, or it has been over three years now, with this intention of I just want to find my passion. What I'm doing right now is not my passion. Sitting in this room making cold calls is absolutely not my passion. I don't know what is, but this might be it. And nope, that's not it. So I'm switching again and I'm switching again. And I really, I think it's like so many of us have been on this lifelong journey and hunt really for what is my passion? I just want somebody to tell me what it is so that I can go and I can do it and I can just live happily ever after. Um, I was reading this article in preparation for this episode by Cal Newport, and he's an author. He's written a lot of great books. Um, one of them being Be So Good That They Can't Ignore You. And uh he read, he also wrote uh Digital Minimalism and some other really great books. So um he's definitely a thought leader out there, and he wrote an article about um passion and how we uh it's actually really dangerous to be on this path of seeking out our passion and the work that we do. He said, really, it's more about not finding your passion, like it's something you lost, or it's something you have to go out and get. And if you don't find it, then your life is a failure, but it's about developing it. And I am really in the space right now where I believe very much agree with that, and also think that are in this place that passion isn't just about the work that we do. Um, there is a a new woman I found. Some of you might already be following her. Um, I and I'm I'm like so excited that I ran across her. It looks like she has an incredible podcast. I just literally played the first few minutes on yesterday and I'm excited to know her. I'm uh if if you happen to know her or um, you know, follow her as well. I I she's somebody that I want to have on the podcast in season three. So stay tuned. We'll see of that. But her name is Tara McMullen. Um, and she is Tara underscore McM-C M-U-L-L-I-N over on Instagram. And uh, she's has a lot of really great content, kind of says that it's it's entrepreneurship for humans, and uh she has it looks like this media company. I'm still learning more about her, so you might know everything about her, and I might have gotten something wrong. But my intent of sharing her with you is that she has had some really good recent podcast episodes and articles about your passion and um how kind of like Cal was talking about, it's something you want to be very careful about because it may just be this long line of how um, you know, capitalism and society is just like positioning, making this angle for us to do just to work more, just to keep working more. And I do think the more that I am in this space, the more that I talk to my friends in this space, I'm I have my own experience. Um, yeah, I don't know that I'm I'm looking for my work passion anymore. Would I say that doing Enneagram workshops is my life calling, is my passion. Um, I don't know. You know, that's kind of a very specific um passion. I think that I enjoy, I get excited learning about people. I get excited about brain science, about behavior science. Um, I'm not a therapist at all, obviously, but some of those, you know, psychology topics I find really interesting. So just understanding that about myself. And I think that that is an outlet for getting to learn more about that. The Enneagram is a great tool to kind of complement that interest, right? And I also don't want to work all the time. Um, I don't know about you, but I have put so much time and energy and effort and hours and hours and hours and hours. I guess time is the same thing as hours, but so much time um into building something that I'm passionate about, a business that I'm passionate about. And I, you know, there there are times where I think, gosh, I just don't know that I want to work this much. I want to be able to, you know, and I do, I do have a lot of flexibility for sure, but I want to have flexibility, I want to have freedom, and I want to have the finances to be able to support the the life of freedom and the ability to travel and to take friends out and to spoil family. And, you know, so just thinking, okay, is really being passionate about the work what I'm really after, or is it something that I can get excited about, something that allows me to have a lucrative income? But ultimately, I want to be passionate and excited about my life, and also knowing that passion is an energy. It's it's also a feeling at the end of the day. I feel passionate. I am passionate about this, but it but it's a feeling and feelings ebb and flow. So being okay with some days at work, some days with my life, knowing I'm not gonna be passionate about it all the time. There's probably gonna be days, maybe even weeks, maybe even months, where like I'm just just kind of going through the motions. And and that's okay. I think if it goes on for too long, I don't know what too long is, that it's something to maybe take a look at, reflect on, question, um, maybe change, maybe not, um, but get curious about that. But also just accept that, yeah, you're I don't know that I'm going to get out of bed. I I know because it's not happened. I'm gonna get out of bed with like my pants on fire because I'm so excited and lit up about the Enneagram or whatever I'm working on. I'm excited. I I enjoy it once I get going, but I think that there's just this hype, this unnecessary hype and also unnecessary pressure to find your passion when it comes to work. And then when you do find it, um, one of the things that Tara had put language to for me, something that I have been thinking, I just didn't know how to form this thought that she said really well. And I'm gonna botch it now, but something along the lines is like it almost when you find it, it almost gives you permission to overwork, to burn out because you have found your passion. And so now you have to pour your whole heart and soul and life into it, right? And maybe who cares what happens to the rest of your life, but you have found your passion at work. And I don't want to necessarily live my life like that. There may be other people that do, right? And that's okay. And none of this am I saying is the right way for you. I'm just saying these are some things that I have been thinking about that have contributed to some of the shifts that you are seeing on the outside and may not have noticed, but are have happened behind the scenes as well. Um, some of the shifts that you have seen with the offers, who who I'm talking to, why. Um, and it's a mix of all of these things. I want to enjoy what I do, but also know that maybe every day I might not enjoy it. Maybe there's things, days that weeks that I won't. And um also knowing that I want to have a full life. I love doing this podcast. I like talking with you. I like having my clients. I like preparing content for workshops, for podcasts, for articles, for social media posts. And also, I don't want that to be my whole life. I want to be really focused and intentional with having hobbies and spending time where I am focused, not thinking about, you know, I should be working or I should be doing this, or oh, I have a new idea, but you know, finding times to unplug and be with people that I care about, planning an adventure, um, you know, all these things that make up a full life. And I don't know that I've been really good at. I know that I haven't really been good at. And so that is also something that have been thinking about and accepting that, you know, I'm gonna do this for a while. And I'm really happy with where I'm at, what I've created, who I'm working with, my plan to work with more people like the people that I'm working with or have worked with. And I'm really happy. I'm I'm good, I'm satisfied. Um, and also I want to look for ways to be really satisfied and um content with other places in my life. So there are that, there you go. There's some, there's some behind the scenes um from those decisions um and what I have, how I've used the Enneagram and just some other general life things that I have thinking of been thinking about. So if passion is something that you've been um struggling with, trying to find it, or maybe you're also having some similar realizations, I'd love to hear from you. You know, um reach out, connect with me, Enneagram MBA over on Instagram, Sarah at enneagrammba.com, over on email, or if you want to shoot me a message on LinkedIn. Um, just, you know, you don't even have to have a question. If you just want to say, oh my gosh, I feel the same way, or here's an article or a book or a podcast that I have listened to that's provided some additional clarity. Um, I'd love to hear about it because I'm right there kind of learning and exploring and um reflecting for myself um right there with you if you happen to be also exploring that idea of passion and trying to quote unquote figure out what that is and what that looks like for you. So um yeah, I I hope something in there was was helpful um and enlightening. And like I said, I'd love to hear where you're at and anything else that has been helpful to you. So with that, um, thanks for being here. Thanks for listening. Um, I'm excited if whoever wants to come along with me in in this next phase, um, specifically here on the podcast in season three. Um, we will be taking a break here in a couple of weeks for the summer and then picking back up with some of these changes. So stay tuned for that. Um I'll, you know, I'll obviously keep you in the loop on that, but wanted just to take a moment and let you know I'm still figuring some things out. There's still some clarity that needs to come, but here's where I'm at right now, and and and here's kind of how I got to some of those things. So thanks again for being here. I appreciate you, and I'll see you back here soon.
